As good, maybe better, as expensive high-end brands
This creme shadow is amazing. I'm over 60 and I can pull it off. It's not that sparkly or shimmering. I would say it is sheer but buildable. Even without primer, it will last, but I would recommend a primer first if you want it to stay put and last hours. The first eyeshadow I ever bought in life was a creme shadow in a pot.
Those having trouble opening the lid. Run under warm water for a few seconds, gently tap the bottom of jar on a hard surface covered with a towel, use a paper towel or tissue to grab the bottom with fingers of one hand and the other the top, and turn counter-clockwise. If doesn't work on the first try, rinse, and repeat. The tops are on very securely but you can get them to loosen with patience. The little brush housed in the lid is so cute, too.
Highly recommend. Fast and easy application and the result is you will look marvelous.
The perfect cream eyeshadow!
This is the best eyeshadow I’ve ever purchased. I was looking for a one and done color and texture, and this is exactly what I was looking for in an everyday, subtle brown (I purchased espresso). It does have a very subtle glimmer to it. I’m not typically drawn to makeup with sparkle (because I don’t think I can carry it off, not because I don’t think it’s pretty), but this is so subtle and it’s perfect.
The texture is cream, but it turns more to powder on the lid and stays put all day.
I had previously purchased the colors caramel and praline because I saw them positively reviewed all over social media. They’re really nice as well. But, in my opinion this is the best color of all those three. I highly recommend this eyeshadow and for the price I think it’s especially unbeatable.
CARAMEL, CREME BRULEE AND ESPRESSO - Why five stars
First, I'm turning 70 in 2021. The eye makeup I loved at thirty or even sixty isn't what looks good on me now, so I have had to adjust.
I wanted a SUBTLE kind of smoky eye, but one that also brightens the center a bit. I also wanted a shadow I could wear alone for a VERY subtle brightening effect. That's where Caramel, Espresso and Creme Brulee come in that I can wear alone or together.
THE CARAMEL! -
This is my fav for just one I can lightly pat or brush along eyelids into crease. I usually do use the Creme Brulee just under brow, but if I can just have one in my bag, it's THIS one. Even on my 70 yr old lids, a little of this goes a long way and isn't overdone.
